What the job is:
As the Resource & Recreation Administrator you will be part of the Land and Forest Management (LFM) department.
This team handles the silvicultural, recreational, and non-timber contracts on 312,000 acres of working forests in the NW Timberlands Division based out of Shelton, WA.
This role helps keep our forests secure:
Patrol the ownership to assure the protection against theft or destruction of our timberlands or equipment.
Aid law enforcement with investigations for incidents that happen on our property.
Build and maintain relationships with the various company departments, local law enforcement agencies (federal, state, county, tribal and city), other timber companies, and adjacent landowners in order to maintain and improve timberland security.
Interact with the public on various land use, access, and permit issues or activities.
Participate in annual fire protection activities, which may include plan updates, agency meetings, training coordination, and equipment maintenance.
This role helps the public recreating on our property:
Participate in the recreational access program, which may include issuing access permits, setting up hunting or trail leases, and managing public access.
Answering requests from the public who wish to use Company lands for various recreation activities.
Green Diamond grows and harvest trees, but we also sell several non-timber products, this role will support those activities by:
Administering leases or permits for floral greens, mushrooms, boughs, specialty woods and others.
Collecting the funds for these products and coordinating the monitoring of these programs.

Compensation Details:
Annual Salary Range:
$62,100 - $93,100 per year.
The pay range listed is just one component of Green Diamond's total compensation package.
