Conn 12H Trombone, Case & Accesories in EUC for sale in Shelton, WA
Up for auction is this Conn 12H trombone with its case, 3 case keys, Conn #2 mouthpiece, lyre and lyre mounting rod (not Conn). If you are reading this, you know the makeup and reputation of Conn's Coprion belled instruments, this one being no different, but quite different in how well cared for it is. One of the nicest 12H's to be had in some time. Very few spots of contact wear, mostly on the neck pipe. Main slide is true and tuning slide adjusts smoothly. This trombone is ready to play out of the case. The finish is mostly intact and original. Refinished Coprion bells have a pinkish hue, originals have a "honey toned" color that is evident peering into the bell throat, which this 12H has and I attempted to photograph. Also included is the original case in excellent condition for its age, no musty smell and only a small patch of fabric wear pictured. A Conn #2 mouthpiece is included that has significant stages of wear with a previous owner's initials inscribed on the outer rim. A lyre and lyre mounting rod are also included, but it does not appear to be original lacking the "Conn" label on the clamp-side of the lyre. Lastly, the original warranty registration card with matching serial number is included. Please examine all photos to self-assess condition and submit any questions prior to bidding. No returns accepted and no shipping outside the continental US available. Thanks for viewing.
